Run For The 97 5K will take place on Saturday 24th May 2025
2025 will see the 11th hosting of the 97/5K which is a community based legacy event that remembers the 97 people who lost their lives at the Hillsborough stadium in 1989 and also those who survived that fateful day. The 5K fun now promotes the amazing work undertaken by four charites based in the local community namely the LFC Foundation, 23 Foundation and Junior Parkrun.
The event rolls out on the last Saturday of the Premier League football season so runners have the exclusive use of Stanley Park which sits right between Goodison Park and Anfield.
